The Adams County Community Foundation is reminding local high school graduates of the February 12 deadline to apply for its 2025 scholarship program. Applications, which opened November 1, are available online for students planning to attend college or trade school this fall.
Eligible applicants can find the form by visiting www.accfo.org and selecting the “Scholarship Application” button.
“Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have five endowment funds providing scholarships to Adams Countians pursuing higher education,” said Paul Worley, Executive Director of the Adams County Community Foundation. “Last year alone, we awarded 35 scholarships from these funds.”
The scholarships are supported by the following endowments: C.E. Smith Family Scholarship Fund, Charles Hugh McGovney Scholarship Fund, Earl and Helen Johnson Scholarship Fund, Adams County Scholarship Fund, & First State Bank Dan Ferguson Scholarship Fund.
Worley also encouraged community members to consider supporting the program. Contributions, including cash, stocks, or real estate, can be made on the Foundation’s website by clicking the “Donate Now” button.
The scholarship program is administered in partnership with the Scioto Foundation. For more details, applicants or donors can contact the Adams County Community Foundation at (937) 544-8659 or via email at info@accfo.org.
