Robert L Wagner, 86, of Manchester, OH died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his home. He was born in Bath County, KY on July 4, 1933 to the late Lanis and Lillie (Hawkins) Wagner.
Robert worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and belonged to the Ohio Operating Engineers Local 18 for 53 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son: Robert Anthony Wagner, his daughter: Carol Sue Wagner, his grandson: Tyler Wagner, and 4 sisters.
Robert is survived by his wife: Faye (Ricketts) Wagner of Manchester, OH, 3 sons and 5 daughters: Loretta (Chris) Kennard, Lanis (Judy) Wagner, and Porter (Tammy) Wagner all of Manchester, OH, Shannon (Cindy) Wagner of Maysville, KY, Opal (Harry) Books of Ewing, KY, Barbara Wagner of Aberdeen, OH, Brenda (Jack) Wheeler of Flemingsburg, KY and Jo Cora of Elkhart, IN, his grandchildren: Vanessa Ziegelmeier, Emery Wagner, Timothy Wagner, Brandon Wagner, Torrain Wagner, and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters: JoAnn Gulley of Friendship, OH, and Mary Tate of Portsmouth, OH, and several Nieces and Nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26 at Wilson Home for Funerals. Rev Dale Little will officiate. Burial will follow at the Manchester Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
