Nellie P. Brinley, 83 years, of Peebles, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at the Monarch Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Seaman.
Nellie was born on February 21, 1937, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Marvin and Margaret (Ferguson) Robinson. Nellie worked in food service at Kroger.
In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Earl Lunsford; a granddaughter, Candice Talinforo; and her two sisters, Mary Barogsowski and Doris Reesor. She is survived by her two daughters, Denise (Hank) Hibbard, of Kentucky; and Robin (Kathy Knauff) Lunsford, of Peebles. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great, great-grandchildren.
To honor Nellie’s memory, the family is planning a memorial service for a later date. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staffs at Monarch Meadows and the Hospice of Hope for their loving care of Nellie.
