James Guy Storer, 73 years, of Seaman, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, in Cincinnati. Jimmy Guy was born in Adams County, Ohio, on June 15, 1946, the son of the late Guy and Elizabeth (Purtee) Storer.
Jimmy Guy worked as a farmer. In addition to his parents, Jimmy Guy was preceded by his son, James Guy Storer, Jr. He is survived by four daughters, Jill Storer, of West Virginia; Jamie Chase, of Kentucky; Ashley (Clinton) Case, of Peebles; and Crystal (Rickey) Ruggles, of West Union; and by a son, Bobby Cook, of Seaman. Jimmy Guy also leaves behind his life partner, Rozetta “Rosie” Cook; two brothers, Dale Storer and Rick Storer, both of Cedar Mills; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 16, 2019, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Tranquility Cemetery, in Seaman. Family and friends may pay their respects from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, Monday, December 16, 2019, prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home.Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
