The river is expected to rise to a crest of 54.6 feet by Monday morning, April 7, before gradually receding below flood stage by early Wednesday afternoon.
Maysville, Kentucky: In Maysville, the river’s water level was recorded at 52.8 feet on April 6, exceeding the minor flood stage of 50 feet. Moderate flood stage is set at 58 feet. The river is projected to crest at 54.3 feet on Monday morning, April 7, and is expected to fall below flood stage by early Thursday morning.
In Adams County, officials have closed several roads due to flooding concerns.
