The Adams County Regional Medical Center (ACRMC) is excited to announce the inaugural Aging Better Expo, an event designed to empower individuals aged 55 and older in Adams, Brown, and surrounding counties. The expo is scheduled for Thursday, September 19th, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Willow Event Center in Winchester, Ohio.
The Aging Better Expo aims to provide attendees with access to vital resources, services, and information to support healthier, more fulfilling lives as they age. The event will feature a range of engaging activities and opportunities for learning and interaction.
Event Highlights:
- Health Fair (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM): Attendees can take advantage of various health services, including blood sugar testing, blood pressure checks, flu shots, vision and hearing screenings, pain assessments, bone density and balance tests, and more.
- Catered Lunch and Keynote Speakers: A delicious lunch, catered by Mayslick Diner Bell and sponsored by Eagle Creek Care Center and Pathways Financial Credit Union, will be provided. Keynote speakers will offer valuable insights on aging, addressing topics such as legal and estate planning, consumer protection, nutrition on a fixed income, and understanding the differences between Medicare and managed Medicare. These presentations are brought to you by experts from Laurels of Hillsboro, Adams County Homecare, Vantage Aging, OSHIIP, and AAA7.
- Entertainment: The day will conclude with an entertaining performance by a magician, promising a fun and memorable experience for all attendees.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with local businesses and organizations, including members of the Adams and Brown county chambers. Whether you need the services of a plumber, electrician, painter, or lawyer, this expo will offer insights into the resources available in the community.
