The 133rd Adams County Fair kicked-off with a grand opening ceremony that honored the dedication and contributions of several key community members. The Adams County Jr. and Sr. Fair presented top awards to individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to the fair and the 4-H program.
Brian Kitchen was celebrated as the Adams County Jr. Fair VIP, recognizing his outstanding contributions and leadership within the Junior Fair community. Kitchen’s dedication to fostering youth involvement in agricultural and fair activities has made a significant impact on the program’s success.
Linda Louiso was named the Outstanding Alumni Member of the Year. Louiso’s continuous support and active participation in the alumni association have greatly benefited the fair and the local 4-H community. Her efforts in mentoring young members and organizing events have left a lasting legacy.
David Baker was honored with the Friend of 4-H award for his unwavering support and dedication to the 4-H program. Baker’s contributions have helped provide resources and opportunities for 4-H members to grow and succeed in their endeavors.
In addition to the Jr. Fair awards, the Senior Fair recognized Issac Miley as the Outstanding Fair Supporter. Miley’s commitment to the fair, evident through his volunteer work and tireless efforts, has been instrumental in ensuring the event’s success year after year.
