The fifth of more than two dozen super loads is set to begin its overland journey in Adams County on Thursday, April 10th with delivery on Sunday, April 14th. From the dock site east of Manchester, it will travel east on U.S. 52 to West Portsmouth, embarking on its intricate route through Ohio. Adams County’s roads will again play a crucial role in the early stages of this transport.
This fifth load is the last of the kilns headed for the plastics recycling center in Hebron, Ohio. The kiln weighs 549,000 pounds and measures nearly 21 feet tall, 18 feet wide, and just over 172 feet long. Making this another logistical marvel to move across the state.
