A historic home on Main Street in West Union met its end last week. The home known as the Willis Lee House was located at 214 E. Main Street in West Union.
According to Adams County Historical Society publications, the home was completed in April of 1818 by Philip and Phebe Robins. The Robins sold the home to Willis Lee who lived in it for several years. Lee was an early merchant in West Union and also served as the village postmaster from 1820 until 1822.
