Early voting began last week for the Ohio primary election. Voters in Adams County can start casting their ballots at the Board of Elections on Wednesday, February 21st. Early voting will continue until March 17th, the Sunday before election day. As a voter, you can request an absentee ballot to vote by mail until March 12th, one week before the primary election.
As of press time, 514 Republicans and 91 Democrats had either requested mail ballots or voted early in the Board of Elections office.
There are multiple offices on the ballot, particularly in the Republican primary. Locally, the offices of Sheriff and Commissioner have multiple contests. In addition, the race for Congress and State Representative will appear on the ballot.
