The annual Lincoln/Reagan Celebration was held in Manchester over the weekend. The sold-out dinner featured US Senate Candidate Bernie Moreno and State Representative Justin Pizzulli.
Moreno spoke about some of the largest problems facing America, specifically, the border crisis and immigration and what he plans to do as a United States Senator to fix it. Pizzulli was praised by local leaders for fighting for Adams County before he gave an update on the conservative legislation he has supported in Columbus. It was also announced that Pizzulli had earned the unanimous endorsement from the Adams County Republican Club.
The evening also featured the presentation of the annual M. Douglas White Republican Leadership Award. The award winner this year was William McFarland. McFarland had previously served as an educator and Republican Central Committeeman. His family has remained active in the community and Republican politics for decades. “We are honored to present this award, named after a man, that all of us respect and love so much, Doug White to a person that has gone the extra mile to ensure significant Republican victories that have built a lasting Courthouse majority,” said the Club.
Candidates for Adams County Sheriff along with nearly all Republican elected officials were in attendance.
