Michael D “Goo” Montgomery, 57 years of age, of Peebles, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at the Adams County Regional Medical Center, in Seaman.
Michael was born on September 7, 1965, in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of Harold Montgomery and Molly Shepherd Vanover. Michael was self-employed in the agricultural field.
Michael is survived by his wife, Patricia (Davenport) Montgomery; and by his sons, Jason (Amanda) Montgomery, of Morrow; and Dwayne Montgomery, of Piketon; and his daughter Amy Willison, of Chillicothe. He also leaves his father, Harold Montgomery, of Cynthiana; his mother, Molly Shepherd Vanover, of McArthur; his brother, Harold Montgomery, Jr., of Cynthiana; and his sisters, Patty Day, of Hillsboro; and Kimberly Montgomery, of McArthur, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael will be especially missed by his six grandchildren.
Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held following visitation on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles, Ohio. The services will be officiated by Dennis Ward. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Peebles.
