Residents have less than a month to register if they plan on voting in Ohio’s May 3 primary, which is still scheduled despite multiple redistricting lawsuits that are still pending.
The deadline to register to vote or to change your address is Monday, April 4, according to the Adams County Board of Elections. The local elections office is located at 215 North Cross Street, Room 103 in West Union.
In order to be eligible for registration, you must: be either a native US citizen or a naturalized US citizen, be a resident of Adams County and Ohio 30 days prior to an election, be a minimum of 18 years of age on or before the date of the general election on November 8, 2022.
Registration is also now available on the Ohio Secretary of State website. For more information, contact the Adams County Board of Elections at 937-544-2633.
