Adams County will soon be losing another Deputy to another agency. Deputy Crystal Smalley has accepted a position as a Parks and Watercraft Officer for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

Smalley said she will miss the people she has worked with for so many years but she is looking forward to the new experience. Smalley’s last day with the Sheriff’s Office was August 15th.
Smalley has already had the required training, however, she has not yet been told where she will be assigned. The staff of the Informer wishes her all the best.
