The Adams County Fair is the start of many Adams County love stories and the 130th edition did not disappoint. Chase McDonald of Manchester surprised his girlfriend Madison Humphrey when he popped the question on Thursday, July 15th.

The young couple had been dating for five years. McDonald waited until after the feeder calf show in the large animal show ring, just before his steer show. The proposal was witnessed by a host of friends, family, and the entire livestock show audience.
