A 31-year-old Peebles man was arrested by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department last month on multiple charges, including attempted murder.
According to the Grand Jury indictment, authorities found that Levi Ralston did purposely or knowingly and with sufficient culpability violate the law. The charges also state that he caused physical harm to the victim, Shelby Ralston by means of a weapon.
Court documents show that the weapon used in the shooting was a single shot 16-gauge shotgun. In addition to the attempted murder charge, Ralston will also face a felonious assault charge with specifications.
Ralston had bond set at $300,000 and is to have no contact with the victim or his biological children. Ralston is being represented by Attorney Bruce Wallace.
