Janet Gail Teeters Allen, 85 years, of Rarden, Ohio, was called home on Friday, September 11, 2020, at her residence, with her daughters by her side. Janet was born in Rarden, Ohio, on October 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Hollie and Burhl (Mustard) Teeters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Paul Allen, her brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Kay Teeters. Janet is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Judy (Jerry) Allen Johnson and Hollis (Rock Williams) Allen Hoop, both of Peebles; five grandchildren, Jodi (David) Parrett, Josh (Jessica) Johnson, Jared (Alyshia) Johnson, Hollie Burhl (Jeremy) Hawkins, Blake (Allison) Hoop, nine great-grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, Payton, Bo, Colton, Izabella, Avery, Charlee and Cohen as well as her aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special friend, Bill Owens.
Family and friends are welcome to attend services on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the funeral following at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mustard Cemetery, in Rarden, Ohio. David Hilgeman will be officiating.
