The Adams County Public Library would like to thank everyone for your continued patience and support throughout this public health crisis. Our staff and patrons’ safety are our top priority, and we have been cautiously looking for ways to offer new services to our community through a phased reopening approach. As the most recent step in that approach, we are pleased to announce that starting Monday, September 21, all our locations will offer curbside and drive-thru services as well as in-library appointment services five days per week, Monday through Friday. Our curbside and drive-thru services remain exclusively for the pickup of items placed on hold, while our appointment services include in-library browsing, computer use, printing, faxing, and copying. Patrons can choose either a Grab-n-Go appointment, which includes browsing for library materials, making copies, and sending faxes, or reserve a public computer, which includes internet access and printing services. Individuals or families can make up to two 30-minute appointments per day, per individual or family, for a total of 60 minutes. For these appointments, everyone aged 2 and older will be required to wear a mask at all times in the building. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you at no charge.
Our new operating hours for each branch’s curbside, drive-thru, and appointment services (as of Monday, September 21) are as follows: Manchester Library—Mondays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. North Adams Library—Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Peebles Library—Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. West Union Library—Mondays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All Adams County Public Library branches are currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
