Jamie C Stout, 61 years, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020, at his residence, surrounded by his family. Jamie was born in West Union, Ohio, on May 10, 1959, the son of the late James R (Todd) and Evelyn Marie (Arbaugh) Stout. Jamie most enjoyed his work as an auctioneer, along with farming, and building furniture. He attended the Hillsboro Church of Christ.
Jamie was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Stamper) Stout, whom he married on November 20, 2009. He is also survived by his children, Erica (Kyle) Volkman, of Delta, Ohio; Hunter Green, of Hillsboro; Josh (Monica) Copas, of Winchester; Skyler Copas, of Winchester; and Destini Copas, of Winchester. He also leaves behind two sisters, Jeanie (Joe) Williamson, of Kannapolis, North Carolina; and Debra (David) Leist, of Heath, Ohio. Jamie will be missed by his seven grandchildren.
Funeral services, officiated by Gene Toole, will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2020, at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Seaman, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Cherry Fork Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2020, at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Jamie’s name to Heartland Hospice Services of Portsmouth, 205 North Street, P.O. Box 400, Lucasville, Ohio 45648.
