Even amid the pandemic, the spirit of American was on full display Saturday morning in West Union. The West Union Lions Club, one of the last remaining service organizations in the community hosted the annual 4th of July parade with a large crowd of spectators and parade participants.

The grand marshals for the event, Tony and Peggy Staggs were driven through the village as dozens of entries followed. After the parade, the community gathered for a grab and go picnic on the Courthouse lawn. In addition, Adams County for Christian Values handed out cookies from the Courthouse gazebo and the Adams County Farmer’s Market had plenty of goodies for sale.
