Marie E. Gaffin age 86 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Monday May 4, 2020. Marie was born August 16, 1933 to the late Roy & Blanche (Johnson) Appleman in Vinton County, Ohio. Besides her parents she was preceded by her husband Ralph (Gundy) Gaffin, sister Juanita Shortridge and brother Cecil Appleman.
Marie was a member of the West Union Church of Christ and Christian Union in West Union, Ohio.
Survivors include one daughter Tonya Gaffin of Columbus, OH; two sons Lanny Gaffin of Le High, FL; Jeff Gaffin & Joyce of Bentonville, OH; four grandchildren Tiffany, Jesse, Joni and Melissa; seven great grandchildren; one great grandchild and six nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus Pandemic, a private funeral service will be held. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 12:30 P.M. at the Kirker Cemtery with Richard Llyod officiating. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home is serving the family.
