Paula Hobbs, 72, of West Union, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Adams County Manor. She was born September 5, 1947 in New Bavaria, OH, daughter of the late Paul and Lorenza Buet Niese. She was the widow of the late Joel R. Hobbs. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul Hobbs; her brothers Leo and John Niese.
Paula loved tending to flowers and growing herbs. She loved nature and taking care of all living things and was also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, John Hobbs and wife Melissa, Lee Hobbs, Joel Hobbs and wife Kim; grandchildren, Hannah, Grace, Joel, Stephanie, Shelby, CJ, Abby, Emily and Kyler; sister, Geralyn Noirot; brother, Jerome Niese and a special friend, Gene Evans.
