John L Reynolds, 63 years, of Aberdeen, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at his residence.
John was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 3, 1956, the son of John and the late Joyce (Wright) Reynolds. After serving in the United States Airforce, he worked as a contractor.
In addition to his mother, John was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa (Reynolds) Ball. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia (Grider) Reynolds, whom he married on December 10, 1977. John is also survived by a son, John (Amanda Warman) Reynolds, of Aberdeen; and by a daughter, Kristina Reynolds. He leaves behind two brothers, Joe Reynolds, of Indiana; and David Reynolds, of South Carolina; as well as two sisters, Judy Thompson, of Cincinnati; and Kim Stock, of Indiana; and his father, John Reynolds, of South Carolina. John’s passing will be mourned by his seven grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services, officiated by Terry Whaley, will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow at the Washburn Cemetery. The family is grateful for all thought and prayers, but with social distancing in effect, requests that only close family members attend the services.
