Charles M Elble, 89 years, of Peebles, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at the Crestwood Ridge Nursing Center, in Hillsboro, Ohio.
Charlie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 31, 1929, the son of the late Clement and Jeanette (Whitney) Elble. Charlie was retired from his lifelong job with the Ohio Division of Forestry.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife Leberta (Bloomfield) Elble, who passed away in 2009. They were married 58 years. Charlie is also preceded by his two brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his son, Gary (Dorothy) Elble, of Hillsboro; and by his daughter, Debbie (Duane) Scott, also of Hillsboro. His loss will be mourned by his four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow at the Jaybird Cemetery, in Peebles. The ceremony will be officiated by Jeff Davis.
