Russell Edwin Saunders, 74, of West Union, OH died Monday, September 23, 2019 under the care of Hospice of Hope. He was born in Clermont County, OH on October 4, 1944 to the late Roscoe and Ethel (Fogleman) Saunders.
Russell was a former Auto Mechanic and worked in Construction. He attended the New Beginnings Church.
In addition, to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter: Edwina Saunders and his sisters: Ida Brock, Betty Hodge, and Alice Faye Slatton, and his brother: Carl Saunders.
Russell is survived by his wife: Virginia (Shephard) Saunders of West Union, OH, his son: Russell Edwin (Stacy) Saunders, Jr of White House,TN, 3 grandchildren: Catherine, Chloe, and Iain, and his sister: Nellie Evans of Manchester, OH.
A Funeral service will be held for Russell 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 27 at Wilson Home for Funerals. Rev Dale Little will be officiating. Military services will be provided by the Adams County Honor Guard. Burial will follow at the Manchester Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
