According to Cleveland.com, an Adams County pizza shop has been named one of the best in the state of Ohio.
The search for the best pizza shops in the state started in 2016 when Cleveland.com went in search of the best pizza joint in each of the state’s 88 counties. Three years later, the results are in, using the same methodology of combining a restaurant’s average star-rating with the number of views and reviews on Yelp to identify the top pizza spot in every county.
Snappy Tomato Pizza, located on Mulberry Street in West Union, is the top in Adams County. Recently, the now state famous pizza shop was sold by Fred and Carol Edgington, along with their son Donnie Edgington to Paul Brown. Since Brown has been focused on remodeling the building.
“The ranch pizza is really good!! Definitely worth the drive from Maysville. I’ll definitely stop there the next time I’m in West Union,” said one Yelp reviewer.
In 2017, another Adams County restaurant was named the best in the state. BK Scoop located along State Route 125 in West Union was named one of the best restaurants in the state of Ohio.
In Brown County, Parker’s Pizza and in Scioto County, Fred’s Pizza Express were also named best pizza shops in the state.
