Manchester High School offers three Microsoft Office Suite courses, taught by Sheila Richards, in which students have the opportunity to be certified. Students take the one semester, three-hour course and practice for the exam throughout the semester.
November 30th, a group of students traveled to Southern State Community College – North Campus at Wilmington, Ohio. These students took a 50-minute exam and were successful in certifying in Microsoft Office PowerPoint. Congratulations to the student pictured below.
Left to right they are Jocelyn Barajas, Hannah Bundy, Kearston Wright and Katelynn Hoffman. Spring semester fourteen students will have the opportunity to certify in either Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.
Next year, Manchester will be adding a fourth class, Outlook, which students will be able to take and have the opportunity to certify.
